Caribbean Fashion Week 2013 resounding success with beautiful designs debuted and performance from Kelly Rowland

Grammy award winning and fashion icon Kelly Rowland returned to the Caribbean’s premier fashion and style event Caribbean Fashionweek. The event celebrated its 13th year at the National Indoor Sports Centre, Kingston, Jamaica June 6-10.

Former Destiny’s Child star and solo artist presented a full concert performance, and JH PR announced a partnership alongside branding expert Kubi Springer, to make local designer’s fashion available online via CFW.com as of the 2014 event, introducing the fashion design talent of the Caribbean to the world market with a focus on creating export opportunities and ultimately impacting the region’s economy.

Jeneil-in-Shelniel-at-CFW-1Caribbean Fashionweek took another giant step forward in 2013, as Pulse, who produce Caribbean Fashionweek, redoubled its efforts to take Caribbean fashion to a place of enhanced respect, recognition and profit, at the centre of world fashion.

One of the highlights of Caribbean Fashionweek 2013 included Pulse star and global supermodel Jeneil Williams who was be inducted into the Pulse Fashion and Beauty Hall of Fame. Discovered, developed and introduced to the international model market by Pulse, Williams is an international superstar and has been the Caribbean’s most outstanding model for the past 4 years. Jeneil commands a body of work that spans the most important names in the international fashion industry. Since the start of 2013, a sample of Jeneil’s work includes Jean Paul Gaultier spring / summer campaign, Vogue Germany editorial, Jimmy Choo campaign, Vivienne Westwood spring / summer runway, YSL Beauty Pop Magazine editorial, and much more.
