March 26th, 10am – 12pm
PR expert and founder of JH Public Relations, Jessica Huie has partnered with the British Library to create a series a workshops aimed at equipping small business owners and entrepreneurs, with the tools needed to market and promote their own services and businesses. The first PR workshop will be held at the British Library and IP Centre on Wednesday 26th March 2014, 10am-12pm.
Public relations is often viewed as a luxury that many small businesses feel is beyond their reach, due to hefty PR agency fees that small businesses cannot afford. Equally in many cases entrepreneurs are ignorant to the true value of public relations, its true impact and how it can influence sales. This workshop will inform and re-educate small business owners on the importance of public relations for business, and arm them with tools and knowledge enabling them to take PR into their own hands and get results.
With accolades such as Glamour Magazine’s Power list and the Daily Mail’s Enterprising Young Brit behind her, a small business owner herself, Jessica is perfectly suited to advise aspiring entrepreneurs on how to raise the profile of their brand without blowing their budget.
The British Library and IP Business Centre aims to support businesses, entrepreneurs and inventors grow their organisations across a range of industries. Providing free resources, business advice and support to those wishing to access this valuable information. Users of the library also have access to the range of workshops on offer, all in the aid of nurturing these small business owners to develop and maintain sustainable businesses.
