This week we would like to introduce Myriam Kone,the owner of Notting Hill based luxury hair salon Mimi et Mina.

 

 

Myriam Kone is the 29 year old Parisian born and West London based owner of luxury hair salon Mimi et Mina, that specialises in high quality hair extensions, colouring, cutting, hair treatment and blow drying menu. This glamorous entrepreneur started her business in the UK despite not being able to speak a word of English at the time!

 

 

What is your business?

Mimi et Mina is a luxury hair salon specialising in hair extensions with a quality driven colouring, cutting, hair treatment and blowdry menu.

 

What inspired you to start your business?

Beauty and fashion are my passion. When I went to university I studied business administration because I wanted to be a beauty entrepreneur! So I can say that I’m doing what I love, making women feel confident and at their best, inspires me.

 

What has been your greatest business achievement?

Getting my hair salon open in one of the best locations in London – Notting Hill.

 

What has been the biggest challenge you’ve faced along your business journey?

Finding the right premises and getting  the interior design like I envisioned.

 

 

Best piece of business advice you’ve ever been given?

Learn from your mistakes and never give up! BE MOTIVATED!
